The Turkish Government is arresting the sister of a leader of the PKK for wearing a Kurdish scarf
- Kurdish woman Serap Mutlu faces an investigation by the prosecutor of the Mazgirt district in Dersim for wearing a scarf with the colors of Kurdistan at her mother’s funeral.
Mutlu is the eldest sister of the Kurdish politician Mazlum Dodulan, a member of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party. The Turkish police arrested Oasa last Monday. After making a statement at the prosecutor ' s office, he was transferred to a court in Istanbul, where he was arrested. The judge has ordered Mutlu prison to be held responsible for "the promotion of the Kurdistan Workers' Party".
Mutlu will be transferred to the women's prison in the Bakeróköy district of Istanbul.
