This year it will start in the same country where the previous Korrika ended: Navarra. The people chosen by AEK to give way to the race. From there, the witness carrying the secret message will leave on 4 April at 17:00 in the afternoon. During the next three days, the race will travel to the south of Navarre and will reach the first capital of the route on Saturday, April 6: Pamplona.
On 7 April it will pass through three other capitals (by Donitango-Garazi, Maule and Baiona, by this order) and on 8, at 10:00 hours, it will enter Gipuzkoa and re-enter Lapurdi and Navarra.
On Tuesday, April 9, after winding between Navarre and Álava, the race will head north, entering Bizkaia and reaching the Ibaizabal through midnight on the 10th. On Thursday, 11, you will arrive in Bilbao at 12:00 a.m. and, after walking slightly Bizkaia, you will continue along the coast.
On 12 and 13 the race will mainly take place in Gipuzkoa (will pass through Donostia-San Sebastián in the afternoon of 12) and will re-enter southern Bizkaia to finish its ninth day in Otxandio.
All the territories of Euskal Herria will already be affected by the Korrika, but the final line will still be missing: it will head first to the east, re-enter Gipuzkoa by Arrasate and pass the hand-in-hand witness until it reaches the goal at noon on April 14: Vitoria-Gasteiz. The reading of the message and the beginning of the great final party is scheduled for 12:30 hours in the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca. The full tour can be seen by localities and counties on the web www.korrika.eus.
