ARGIA and Hala Bedi while in court

Both the Hala Bedi and ARGIA radio collaborate in different ways to perform journalism. Both are small and independent media, based on a strong community (Alubias and Clear People). These two media outlets have had to spend these weeks in the courts, only because each of them has done a successful job as a journalist. ARGIA journalist Lander Arbelaitz recorded in May 2018 a case of live violations of language rights in a video and spread the news. This video was basic for the Ertzaintza to publicly apologize to the members of the organization. Over 400 journalists, social workers and citizens have called for the suspension of the trial in the Court of First Instance. Arbelaitz testified on 20 March and is now waiting for the judge's answer to see if there will be a trial.
