'Blue Folders' is awarded by the public in the Madrid Documentation

The film Blue Folders by filmmaker Ander Iriarte has been recognized in Documententa Madrid. In particular, he has received the prize from the public.
Blue binders focus on torture. It is based on the report prepared by Dr Paco Etxeberria for the Basque Government.
When collecting the prize, Iriarte thanked those present for the Documententa Madrid awards. “When we are in a peace process, we must leave one place to recognize the pain of the other. I do not know if this is the first time, but the spectators of Madrid — and this is symbolically a lot — have told thousands and thousands of torturers that they recognize their pain, that they believe them. And that's really important, thank you."
