Mañolo Espellet, Araitz Echegaray and Maialen Harispuru have received the award on behalf of the students, teachers and parents of the collective Azterketa Euskaraz.
The Azterketa Euskaraz collective has been awarded by ARGIA for:
"A movement needs triumphs to be able to delude itself. Without this it is more difficult to remain in time, there is always concern about the recovery and attraction of new forces.
It seems that those of us who are going to reward do not have that distress. It seems that his is like a good wine, growing up with the strength of the years…
It is many years, however, that they remain unattained objectives, that they should be rights, that they continue to be violations under the law. But they go ahead, imaginative, colorful, irritating and radical.
Tomorrow and the past, it is an immense school for the new generation that will need urbanism and Basque culture. She has kids in front line with her parents and teachers. Occupations, disobedience, human chains, demands: they have a experience of struggle loaded with lessons".
