The Socialist Council in Iparralde denounces that two people have been expelled from a house in Cambo

The Socialist Council of the Northern Basque Country announced yesterday that, in the middle of the winter, two people were expelled from a home in Cambo (Lapurdi), located on the Marienia Trail and which is currently empty.
Thus, the members of the Socialist Council of the Northern Basque Country have now opened the door to this house. "With this symbolic act we want to denounce the expulsion of the house here produced and claim the legitimacy of the occupation. However, what happened in this house is not an isolated case," they said yesterday: "The capitalist system, on the one hand, creates people that can't house, and on the other hand, what it can do with the land and the housing, the bourgeoisie. It is a bourgeois law that protects these great owners and severely punishes the use of empty houses". First of all, the Socialist Council has called for universal housing.
