Where did the idea of making a lunar calendar come from?
The first time we took it out was in 2010. There were a lot of questions and questions about the moon in the store, and we thought that's what you can give you an answer with the calendar. The idea was to represent every month the crescent and waning moon, we started with that. A couple of years later, we decided to add the data from the biodynamic calendar, which explains the agricultural work to which it is dedicated every day.
The timetable therefore contains information from two different sources.
Yeah, that's it. One, the moon, which is represented day by day in increasing and waning, depending on the color of the square of the number. In agricultural and forestry work, the moon helps in a few moments and in others it is affected.
The other is the biodynamic calendar, which explains the cosmic effect on agriculture, according to the model of María Thun. In summary, it can be said that there are four phases, in each one of which it is recommended to sow or plant different things: days with red streaks are suitable to sow or plant fruits, browns for plants that give root, blue for leafy and yellow for flowers. Finally, the days inappropriate for everything are indicated in black lines: it is better not to do anything in those days.
To whom is this special timetable addressed?
For anyone who is engaged in agriculture, this is not a purely professional timetable. We are looking for the democratization of agriculture, it can also serve as a guide for someone who is in its beginnings. Then everyone will make their way, but at least they have a reference there. We also propose tests for those who buy the calendar: to exercise in their orchards, making plantations in a few specific days and checking if there is any difference in plantation according to the biodynamic calendar.
The calendar is very successful, isn't it?
Yes, it has tremendous success. Last year we had all sold and it seems that it has more and more reach.
