The state of alarm will be established in the prefectures of Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, Chiba, Osaka, Hyogo and Fukuoka, and the implementation of the measures will be in the hands of the local governors. Governors may require the closure of educational establishments and agglomeration sites or the use of buildings or land without the consent of their owner. However, in the case of Japan, they cannot punish citizens who fail to comply with the measures, compliance with the containment depends on the will of the citizens.
New hearings
Japan, because of its geographical proximity to China, has been one of the countries most at risk since the beginning of the epidemic. In fact, before the pandemic spread to Europe and around the world, Japan was one of the countries that most concerned the world. The Diamond Princess was native. With 620 cases, this boat was the place where more cases of contagion occurred outside China.
The country, far from following the South Korean model and carrying out numerous tests, was dedicated to caring for the most serious patients and managed to stabilize the spread of the virus thanks to the country’s prolific economic situation. A total of 1,800 cases and 55 deaths were recorded. Now, however, new cases are being reported in the country: Over the past 10 days, Japan has recorded over 2,000 new cases, a total of 3,743 people and 85 deaths. The country with the most contagious is Tokyo, with 1,034.
Why these new cases?
East Asia seemed to have left the pandemic behind, to the point of not counting deaths in China on 6 April. In Japan, however, coronavirus cases have increased again, to the point of having to take drastic measures such as the closure of several cities in the country. The reason for this, some say, is the weak measures imposed by the Japanese Government.
In fact, the government did not decree confinement when the pandemic began, nor did it isolate the most contaminated prefectures. He closed the schools and asked people to stay at home, but many experts say those measures "aren't enough."
