Jakes Esnal will be mobilizing on 19 May for repatriation
- This Thursday, the Paris Calling Court will look into the prisoner's request for parole. To this end, Bake Bidea organised a rally at Donibane Lohizune in favour of Jakes Esnal.
This Thursday at 19:00 on Louis XIV Square in San Juan de Luz, Bake Bidea has arranged an appointment to ask for the repatriation of Jakes Esnal, a man who has been in prison for 32 years. In fact, on 19 May, they intend to analyse the prisoner ' s request for parole in Paris.
On 9 March, he announced that the French Court of Cassation estimated Esnal’s appeal. In this regard, the Paris Call Hearing will look at the request for parole on 19 May. In September 2020, this court did not want to analyse the request and that is why its defence postponed the appeal.
Last week the Paris Criminal Enforcement Tribunal examined for the sixth time the request for conditional release of political prisoner Ion Parot. The Prosecutor once again opposed it because he believed it was too early to take the prisoner out.
