The egalitarian company Jaizkibel has stated that it is willing to participate in the format now held by Hondarribia’s alarde. As of 2022, former captain Ixabel Alkain has asked to be the 22nd company of the alarde, in a hearing before the City Hall on 16 July.

Although they are in favour of "a unique, egalitarian and public scaremongering", they see the decision as one more step towards giving way to dialogue. As they have explained, discussions to seek a "solution" to the conflict have been difficult so far, and on Friday, to reach an agreement, they asked the Hondarribia City Hall to "support a consensual solution". In fact, Jaizkibel has pointed out that it is essential to seek the support of the institutions and the political parties, in reference to a study carried out by Emakunde.

This year's parade has been suspended by the young woman's health. But until September 8, 2022, a number of activities have been organised instead of the main party.
