This is the ninth edition of the meetings to be held in Iurreta on 6 November. This year, the hosts will be performed by the youngest member of the network: The free Laixiar radio from Iurreta started operating at the end of 2020.

Despite the fact that the final programme has yet to be confirmed, the main events of the day have been brought forward. Starting at 10:30, the following three workshops will be organised: "Sexist and racist language in our micro-s," "Free software on radio," and "How to make an FM broadcast from scratch." They will then discuss the dichotomy between radio and podkasta and, in general, the future of radio programmes. On the one hand, they will interview several radio representatives, including the friends of Hala Bedi de Gasteiz and Radixu de Ondarroa, and on the other, a couple of projects working in the podcast sector, including members of Berania de ARGIA.

Finally, at 18:00 hours, the documentary they have made to make known Arrosa’s trajectory over the two decades will be released.

Sanding in pink

The Red Arrosa de las radios en Euskera de Euskal Herria has reached 20 years in June of this year. In 2001 Herri Mugi! the initiative organized a meeting of popular movements in Barria (Álava) and several free radios joined the communication committee of those days. Shortly after this collaboration, the founding meeting arrived at the festival Euskal Herria Zuzenean, in Arrosa (Baja Navarra). The name of the town was collected for the network. Twenty years later, the network consists of 25 programmes from all over the Basque Country that are exchanged throughout each week about 60 programmes. It is a joint effort of the local free radios to complete a different offer in Euskera on the dial made up of public and private companies that work mainly in Spanish.
