Israeli bombings cause at least fourteen deaths in Syria
- The attacks have taken place on Sunday night and, according to the Syrian Government, have captured several military positions in northeastern Syria.
The Diario.es has reported this news. The director of the hospital, which targeted the city of Masyaf, informed the official Syrian news agency that fourteen people have died and more than 40 have been injured.
According to the official version of the Syrian Government, Israel has attacked several military positions in Syria and denied that there have been attacks. The Syrian Observatory on Human Rights, based in the United Kingdom, has indicated that at the points attacked by Israel there are pro-Iranian militias, supporters of the Syrian Government and who are Israel’s usual target. The Centre has explained that the attack took place for about three hours and that the Ertzaintza has stopped. The Centre also notes that some offshore structures have been involved in the incidents.
According to El Diario.es, Israel does not recognize the bombings in Syria since the outbreak of the conflict in the neighbouring country. Combatants of the Lebanese organization Hezbollah and Iranian military advising the Government of Syria in everything that happens there are found in the areas under attack. In those areas, Israel hardened its attacks since the conflict with Gaza hardened in October, when it began to flourish.
