Israel has tightened the blockade against the Gaza Strip in recent days, which will lead to an extreme energy crisis in which the Palestinian people are currently suffering. The Gaza electricity company warned yesterday that the only power station on the Palestinian-controlled site has been out of supply since Sunday because of the blockade. Nearly two million people will be left without electricity, including hospitals and other basic services.

The Gaza power plant produces 35% of local energy consumption and is obliged to purchase the remainder: Israel, which firmly maintains the offensive, and Egypt, which has been on sale to Palestine for a long time. In Gaza, electricity cuts caused by this shortage of electricity are common. Now, however, because they have directly prevented the entry of fuel into the territory, the only power plant will stop producing energy. Tanks of the Zionist regime have carried out further bombardments in the besieged Gaza Strip against the Palestinian Resistance, according to reports of the Israeli Defence Force (IDF). The Israeli Ministry of Military Affairs has reported in a statement that the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (HAMAS) has perpetrated attacks from northern Gaza. The launches were carried out in response to alleged “incendiary balloons” sent from border areas with territories occupied by Israel. The Gaza Strip often receives such attacks, under all sorts of pretexts. The Palestinian Hamas movement has warned that Tel Aviv has carried out these attacks with the aim of "diverting public opinion from its deep internal crisis".

Despite the difficulties, the Palestinians do not give up. Three weeks ago, HAMAS carried out a demonstration of strength and launched missiles against the Mediterranean, where it was intercepted. At the same time, he sent the correct note to Israel: “Hamas has thousands of missiles, and if the occupants dare to attack our people, we will turn your colonies into ghost cities,” threatened the Gaza leader of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Yahya Sinwar.
