This year marks the 25th anniversary of the first women’s show by the Alarde de de Irun, and the Pare association has organised an initiative to remember that. In his view, although much progress has been made in these years, "the struggle is being long and it is not yet over" and at Irun's great feast society is still "starting in two".
But they stress that those 25 years have gone by nothing: "The road has been as hard as it has been rich." To remember all this, they have created an interactive "walk of history", made in Basque and Spanish, through written texts, audios and photographs of the time, as well as illustrations produced by members of the collective Txakur Gorria: "We have remembered the great occasions of this struggle so that the citizens know it and never forget it," he added.
In addition, on June 19 there will be a historic walk on the street, starting from Plaza San Juan de Irun at 11:00, by the hand of historian Mertxe Tranche. The walk has three objectives: to put into the hands of the "new generations" what has given that long struggle; to reclaim the egalitarian alarming and to require public institutions to respect the rights of women; and to pay a "simple tribute" to the 57 women who marked the day of St. Marcial in 1996.

In Bilbao, I worked for five years with groups at risk of exclusion around the digital divide, especially with women. Along the way, I came across machistan violence and many other problems. In a very organic way, I began to relate to myself and to understand the work of the... [+]
In recent years, I have made little progress. I have said it many times, I know, but just in case. Today I attended a bertsos session. “I wish you a lot.” Yes, that is why I have warned that I leave little, I assume that you are attending many cultural events, and that you... [+]
