The Men’s Foundation for Citizenship, better known as Paris 365, has presented the report of the year 2021. He highlighted his ability to cope with the crisis – he has provided more services with fewer donations – and his firm commitment to a culture against social exclusion.

The organization regrets that the reading of the situation cannot be positive, as the original objective of disappearance is further away than ever. It should be remembered that Paris 365 is a non-profit organization born of the people and conceived as an emergency resource for the 2008 crisis.

Due to the coronavirus, although the dining room remained closed for almost the whole year of 2021 and the menus were distributed in tupers, it attended 378 people, 29% more than in 2019 and 9% more than in 2020. However, food donations decreased by 23% from 2019 and by 32% from 2020.

In the pantry, a resource for families with children, the numbers reflect the same trend. A total of 182 families, i.e. 1,112 persons, have been treated directly or indirectly through an adult member of the family. Of these, 605, 54% are minors.

However, the Foundation has managed to balance its accounts, mainly thanks to its 700 partners and 400 volunteers; in the partners, the discharges are more than low. This positive economic balance is strongly influenced by the two second-hand shops in Paris 365, which are an important source of funding for the rest of the resources.

In exchange for a euro, the Paris 365 dining room offers three daily meals to citizens without resources for proper food.
