Presented the 54 edition of the Durango Fair, with a new image and many new features
- Between December 5 and 8, the Landako Gunea area will host a total of 405 new publications in Euskera. In addition, the representatives of the fair have presented the new spaces and counters that have been opened to the attendees.
With the aim of "adapting to current trends", the representatives of the fair have presented the novelties of the Durango Fair for this year. From 5 to 8 December, places with a varied offer will open their doors. In total, the fair will have 405 innovations: 273 books, 91 records, 16 magazines, five audio-visual and 20 different projects. In fact, the fair will have more than 200 cultural events in its seven spaces.
One of these seven spaces is new this year. One of the shop windows of the fair will be located in the Musika Eskola, where the press conference has been held. In it, the Plaza de la Reflexion and DA! This year’s innovations include the organization of PRO projects, which this year will become the second innovation. DA! The PRO project will be a meeting between programmers of Euskal Herria and creators and professionals of the music sector, as announced by representatives of the Durango Fair.
New counters
The exhibitors of the Azoka have highlighted that after 30 years there will be changes in the stands: they will be wood, and in the markers they will have different colors and icons. The aim of the report is "to facilitate the identification of exhibitors", as indicated in a statement.
There will be no lack of the musical proposals of Ahotsenea and Plateruena, or the spaces of Irudienea or Areto Nagusia, which will be held in the Main Theatre. In addition, Suganbara, Kabi@ and Szenatokia will be the main squares of the Fair.
Places of self-producers and theatres
Self-producers will have their space. A total of fourteen works will be submitted to the competition. On the other hand, the first edition of the Bilbao Short Dance and Theatre Festival will be held, which will bring together ten companies and dozens of performances.
