"In this story, two breaths are narrated: Iratxe Sorzabal's and Mari Nieves Diazena's. Both, in their own way, have suffered from the lack of breathing caused by torture, together with so many other sufferings. The first has suffered in his skin a temporary breakdown with life. The second, for its part, was part of her daughter's body. This story is about making those two invisible breaths, those two polemics, that double suffering. In this case, from the mother's mouth and experiences, but focusing on the suffering of the daughter on her skin, and making Irache's voice heard as much as possible", can be read in the presentation sheet of the documentary.
Produced by production Bordagorri, under the direction of Jon Mikel Fernandez, a torture work has been carried out. The documentary deals with the violence suffered by Iratxe Sorzabal when she was arrested by the Civil Guard in 2001, accused of being a member of ETA, and how they have led her. He is currently in prison in Reau, France.
However, it is not limited to the case of Sorzabal and torture is broader through interviews with former fugitive Nekane Txapartegi, forensic Paco Etxeberria or the former judge, lawyer and torture activist of the Serge Portelli Versalles Deia Court. The interviewees who have studied torture have been a mechanism of repression massively used in the Basque Country.
The authors have pointed out that their objective is the maximum dissemination of the documentary, and for the coming months projections are being linked in Euskal Herria, even abroad, whether in Catalonia, Switzerland, Madrid or Germany.
