Recalling that it is increasingly appreciated by many people on the street and that every year in Iparralde there are three or four new farmers starting to cultivate horticulture, BLE has brought to the table the tiring conditions in which Iparralde horticulators have to work: It excludes European aid CAP, insurance systems are very expensive and are not adapted to the working methods of horticulture. In addition to the damage caused by storms and extreme phenomena that are occurring more and more frequently, including the raging of the climate, the baserritars generate many hours of unpaid work and great despair for the destruction of the built over and over again.
In solidarity with citizens and consumers, it calls on the Iparralde authorities to turn BLE's recent decisions to promote local food into concrete actions.
