Another case of police infiltration has come to light in various political groups in Madrid. Today it has been announced that a Spanish police officer, Lucía Rodríguez, has been in the Anti-Repressive Movement of Madrid for three years and in the group of anti-fascist youth 104 in the Aluche neighborhood.
Assuming the false name of María, Rodríguez has been infiltrated in the political movements mentioned between 2020 and 2023. In 2020 he joined the Profiles 104 group after going through an anti-fascist gym. The young collective threw the hill through a Telegram channel created by himself, went to the appointment to attend an anti-fascist demonstration in November and appeared as Mary.
In 2022, he joined the Anti-Repressive Movement. The scam lasted until the fall of 2023, when the police were shot in "many social centers and political headquarters" in Madrid, according to the portal elDiario.es.
On the occasion of the police infiltration they have suffered, District 104 and the Anti-Repression Movement launch a statement. "They are not new, in defence of the rights and freedoms that this regime of misery denies us, those practices of control and persecution against those we organize politically outside the institutions, and it is not an exception, but the modus operandi that the state has with the working class, anti-fascist and truly democratic organizations," they denounce.
They recall that this is not exactly the first case they have suffered in the Anti-Repressive Movement in Madrid. Last September, for example, another police officer, Sergio Gigirrey, was reported to have infiltrated the movement.
