Basque political prisoner Iñaki Bilbao Goikoetxea has been on hunger strike since midnight this Wednesday, as reported by the Pro Amnesty and Anti-Repression Movement (AEM).
In addition to doing a hunger strike, Bilbao has announced that it will not leave its cell, where its house is. “This means that you will not have backyard hours and that you will not keep any communication, visits, or telephone communication,” AEM explains.
The prisoner has also shown his claim for political action: “Basque Country Independent, Socialist, United and Basque Country”. AEM has endorsed the Bilbao objectives and called for "attention" to upcoming events and "solidarity".
