The Basque Government has suspended health inspections in companies since 16 March
- Since 16 March, the Basque Government has paralysed the inspections of the Ertzaintza, as well as those of Osalan. Osalan has taken care of the only escort guaranteed to him. On 14 April, workers in industry non-basic workplaces will return to work and the prevention plans that will be implemented are again a cause for concern.
Osalan inspections since 16 March last have been interrupted, except in the event of an accident, as indicated in the note. On 13 April, at noon, employees of the administration received no further notices.
How is Osalan supposed to suspend inspections during a global health crisis? What I would understand is that citizens are multiplied by inspection in a situation like this, because for companies the situation is completely new and the whole of public health depends on the measures that are put in place.
One month without audits also for polluting companies
The question is whether the companies themselves have been aware of this measure and whether they have used it to carry out unauthorized contagion.
