The 53 edition has started with Student Day. Durango Fair
- At 10:30 hours the Durango Fair has opened its doors and until Sunday will be the showcase of the cultural production of Euskal Herria. This is the first day of the students and you can see it in the Landako building, which is full of young visitors.
The activities of the day have also adapted for this young audience. For example, in the Main Hall from 10:30 to 13:00 illustrator Maite Mutuberria will offer the workshop “I will make a book”. At the same time and until 14:00, Saroa Bikandi and Peru Magdalena will offer the “Poropoesia” programme in Saguganbara and Ahotsenea, with the help of Telmo Trenor, a workshop on electronic music production at 12:00.
As has been usual in recent years, the programming of the Durango Fair is full of activities, as both in Landako and in the surroundings there will be presentations of books, concerts, plays and audiovisual shows.
Due to the large number of parking problems in downtown Durango these days, the organization has requested vehicles to be installed in the Iurreta motorway exit parking. During the whole day there is a free bus service to Landako Gunea from this parking, from 10:30 to 20:00 hours.
ARGIA Artekale in numbers 23-25
ARGIA will also be present at the Durango Fair, on Artekale Street, between numbers 23 and 25 of the same street. In addition to participating in ARGIA, they will be able to buy different products that contribute to the strengthening of this communication project: Calendar 2019, Agenda Lantzen, T-shirts and Bags “Nobody is illegal” that we have published together with Mbolo Moye Doole from Bilbao.
This will be a special edition for ARGIA, as this medium is 100 years old in 2019. The working group is eager to publicize the activities that ARGIA has prepared for next year, as well as to deepen face-to-face relations with the community that makes our work possible.
