“Beyond offering a Basque leisure time, our intention is for young people to carry out a training process together, so every entrepreneurial and revolutionary student is invited to the itinerant school” says Intxausti.

During these days, they will travel from Irurtzun to Altsasu. “We will do a three-hour walk every morning,” he explains. “On the first day, from Irurtzun to Arachis Island; on the second day, from Arachis Island to Etxarri; on the third day, from Etxarri to Altsasu”.

The development of critical content will be carried out by the young people in the itinerant school, so they have organized both theoretical and practical trainings. “In the theoretical blocks of one hour we will make an analysis of situations, then in the practical block of two hours, we will strive to acquire the capacities to transform society.”

If you're tired the Akeite area

All kinds of topics will have a presence in the itinerant school: occupation, education, feminism, political communication, computer security, etc. “Depending on the color that suits each of them, it will cover different topics,” explains Intxausti. “When it comes to holding workshops, it can also happen that someone is tired, so we also have a quiet area in all the villages, the ‘Akeita area’”, he adds.

The Patriotic Student attaches importance to coming out of the four walls, “being in a closed place all day does not help the mind”. In addition, the organizer points out that being inside a room does not help socialize, “but we hope that the morning walk will allow us to socialize.”
