Ekologistak Martxan denounces Iberdrola for the unauthorized felling of trees
- The company has made cuts within the electricity supply project on the banks of the Ebro River in Baños de Ebro. Despite being approved for the project, it did not have permission for the felling of trees.
On August 22, the residents of Baños de Ebro warned that Iberdrola was cutting without authorization the trees located on the banks of the Ebro River. In this regard, Ekologistak Martxan has submitted his complaint, as he reported Alea.eus.
Although the Spanish Ministry of Ecological Transition has authorized the electric line, the report issued by the ministry has revealed a ban on the felling of trees in the area. Ekologistak Martxan accuses Iberdrola of not complying with the project specifications.
