Beach and face mask are two of the objectives of the Italian tourism sector
- Italy is in the longest lockdown in Europe and has been closed for six weeks by the state and eight provinces. The measures taken by the Italian Government have already been approved by Italian society and have, in general, been given the appropriate response. But what will happen when we get the call from the sun and the sea?
The Italian summers, bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, have a lot to do with the beach, the sun and the heat. Although they are clear that this summer is going to be different, some companies are putting forward proposals so that they can enjoy summer by maintaining security measures.
Companies in the tourism sector will aim to promote movements within the state, in a long summer - the Basque Government has made the same proposal, alluding to the fact that this summer "is an opportunity to rediscover the Basque Country"-. The spokesmen of the sector have pointed out that measures similar to those of confinement must continue to work: they call on the Italians to stay home if they go to the nearest beach and prefer private transport. The use of face masks, as so far, will be mandatory.
The workers on the beaches have announced that they will take the necessary measures to ensure that the site becomes safe and have put forward proposals such as protective cabins, shower tunnels, distribution of products from the bars of the beaches among the workers, control of agglomerations, etc.

These are times of uncertainty and no one knows whether these measures can be put in place. Not all tourism sectors agree with these measures, and although authorities in some provinces have agreed to the tourism season, some rescuers have not agreed to work until the vaccine is ready.
The opening of the beaches is not yet secure and strict security measures must be maintained if they are opened up. The hope of entrepreneurs is to control new infections by June, because in this way the government can somehow facilitate mobilization.
Florida residents are already on the beach
Another reality is that on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, in Florida (USA). His governor, Republican Ron DeSantis, has given the green light to the opening of several beaches of the state. In the state, 726 people have lost their lives to the coronavirus, but the governor says that if security measures are maintained on the beaches, the contagion will not grow.
DeSantis said Florida residents need "fresh air" and asked them to go "in a good way" to the beaches. The practice of the beach, surfing, swimming, sport and walking of pets is therefore allowed, always keeping distance with others.
The beaches will have a schedule from 6 to 11 in the morning and from 5 to 8 in the afternoon. The population is forbidden to sunbathe or towel, cook in it and have agglomerations of more than ten people.
