The week of the black novel in Basque is celebrated for the eleventh time, from 20 to 26 January. Many activities will take place in different locations in the Baztan Valley. These are presentations of books, round tables, talks and cultural events, and participation in the activities is free of charge.
On January 20 H)ilbeltza starts and the protagonist will be the novel Amazurtza by Joxan Oiz Arruti, who will present the work in the house of Dr. Arizkun at 19:30 in the afternoon. On 22 January, for its part, Idoia Santamaría will offer a colloquium guided by the adventures and misfortunes of Commissioner Bärlach in the society of Aniz at 19:00.
The weekend will be the turn of the main events. Saturday, January 25, will be the big day, the black day. In the morning there will be a round table in Elizondo on how to create a criminal (unintentionally) and at noon a meal in Erratzu.
Food will be the only act of payment and tickets must be purchased. Sending an email to ilbeltzabaztanen@gmail.com will be enough to do this.
Continuing with the black day, two books will be presented in the afternoon: Izaskun Gracia of Quintana and daughter of the Lehendakari of Iñaki Petxarromán. In the evening, the day will be closed with a game of enigmas under the Moon in Erratzu.
On Sunday, January 26, the black Xartolako Axeriitzulia will take place from 11:00 in the morning from Azpilkueta and in the afternoon, at 19:00, the Odolfo Kantari show will end the black week.
Joan Tartas (Sohüta, 1610 - date of unknown death) is not one of the most famous writers in the history of our letters and yet we discover good things in this “mendre piece” whose title, let us admit it from the beginning, is probably not the most commercial of the titles... [+]
As the fall ends, the crows appear on Basque Day, in the Basque era or in the Durango Fair. Aware of the results of socio-linguistic surveys on the use of Euskera, the "politically corrective" exercise has no longer drawn anyone's attention. Without Ttattarri, with cool and smiling... [+]
When we woke up, culturally and administratively, the landscape showed a three-speed disaster.

The column starts with a discussion that seems absurd to the naked eye: 2024 if it was one of our literary numbers, how would you call it?
If you don't find answers, spend half an hour on this year's experiences; first access Instagram files and go to Twitter when they are... [+]
