The premiere of the cycle was for Itxaro Borda and Ibon RG. The Hi(zki)flanges are the space of mutations between the different artistic representations, as without changes there is no progress. Mutation is the key to evolution. Itxaro Borda and Ibon RG, at least, came to the perfect mutation in the recital of clay poems in which voice, poetry and music mix.
The Apocalypse, the disaster, the end of the world was described by Itxaro Borda in a poetic abyss of terrible scenes. The disaster comes and we do not want to realise it. In the dark atmosphere of a rainy afternoon in late February, the public almost unwittingly immersed themselves in an apocalyptic atmosphere. Meanwhile, Ibon RG's electronic sounds increased his discomfort.
Next session of the Hi(zki)bridos cycle: On March 25, 'Muga, Amphetamiña', based on Xabier Montoia's first book.
When contemporary vanity people realize, it's already late. Chaos has invaded the world, society has dissolved, man is the most incarnate enemy of human beings. The one who has little can attack the one who has nothing. Do we have to believe the words of the media and governments when the plague has spread everywhere? All of a sudden, the words of Itxaro Borda seem to make a leap into the present. Needless to say, when you mentioned the landfill, the poor consequence of the “adorned cosmography of plastic.” Deadly pests and killer landfills are the most important news these days, so close to the apocalypse?
There were themes that moved our society, in verse, under lines of symbolism, the echoes of the real world were interspersed. The power, the distribution of wealth, the technology, the unpleasant treatment we give to immigrants.
So many tragedies and disasters, have we come to suffer the House of Euskera? Well, no. The ability of Itxaro Borda to construct and put in front of the eyes the most amazing scenes through poetry is a real pleasure. Fantastic environments and concerns of today and today, all well sewn. For those of us who don't know much about electronic music, watching the synth Ibon RG get the juice out, more enjoyment yet. We are waiting for the next round of the Hi(zki)bridos cycle, to see what surprises it brings us.
Spring is usually a promise of a cold winter nose that can come after the landing, and has been annotated several times for sleep. Promise, however, is never a safe spring in a ruined terrain. Not at least if we are talking about change or, in particular, revolution. Maddi... [+]
We opened the poems book by Oihana Jaka and found two deals. One father and another son. It is worth noting for its direct relationship with the poems we will find. The book is structured in three parts:
Hamaika urte, Hamaika hilabete eta Hamaika egun. Number eleven is also... [+]
Yolanda Castaño has been interviewed since she received the Spanish National Poetry Prize. The head of a row from one of them caught my attention because he said the second hardest thing he's ever done is win the prize. And I immediately began to look for what was the hardest... [+]
A few years ago, I wrote a little book about Tene Mujika, which is called Udazken Argitan. When I started doing that biographical essay, I met our protagonist today, Mr. Watson Kirkconnell. In 1928, Kirkconnell published a nice book of European Elect anthology, which included... [+]
I do not remember who I heard that at the end of the month you can only write poetry, if poetry is not your way to the end of the month. Poetry, fortunately or unfortunately, has always been on the periphery of the literary system and the cultural industry. In any case, poets... [+]
Juan Margarita fuse architecture and poetry. They asked about the relationship between both disciplines, in the belief that the unification of these two practices was exceptional. In these cases, she answered that both areas had great similarities, since for Margarita, both the... [+]
After seeing the word, I thought I would write the chronicle. I've thought, why is it [pause] to recite [pause] so poems are? I've also told my friends I'm going to a poetic recital. And they've also told me uf, I don't understand poetry. I've been opened up by dogs and eyes and... [+]
