After a long time calling for job improvements for the public sector before the Administration, the signatory institutions believe that the Department of Education and the Government of Navarra have ignored their demands: to lower the ratios, to recover the purchasing power, to reduce the work overload and to stabilize the teachers.
On the other hand, the unions representing the teaching staff of Public Education are harassed by the lack of willingness to negotiate on the part of the Administration. They have therefore indicated that the time has come for mobilisation and have encouraged all teachers to join the strike next Thursday, 26 September.
