In early 2022, two encouraging steps have been taken towards technological sovereignty in the education of the Northern Basque Country: We have learned that the San Juan de Luz ikastola has started using TxikiLinux and that 140 computers of the Baiona Etxepare Liceo are used with the Debian operating system.

In this session we have been with Eder Etxeberria, the father of San Juan de Luz and the professor of the liceo Bernat Etxepare, and with some of the protagonists of the ikastola of San Juan de Luz.
