The Ministry of Education has agreed this Wednesday with the Autonomous Communities that this course will be attended by children, primary, secondary and first year high school students, although not all with the same grade.
The teacher must decide the qualification of each student based on the notes obtained in the first two trimesters, taking into account the work carried out during classroom classes in the months prior to the implementation of the state of alarm.
They will only take account of the third quarter if it is for the benefit of the student
The third quarter will only be taken into account if it is for the benefit of the student. The final evaluation should include a personalized report for each student. If necessary, the reinforcement plans that come into force for this special purpose will be designed.
In exceptional cases, the student will repeat the course, although for this purpose the centres will need administrative authorisation.
On the other hand, it opens up the possibility of opening centres on summer holidays, following the request of education experts to the Spanish Government. This measure aims to help students who are at risk of falling behind and will be voluntary for the student.
The reinforcement plans will be implemented at the beginning of the next school year, so the subjects planned for the next school year will have to be reduced. The intention of the authorities is to specifically recruit teachers who meet this objective.
This was agreed on Wednesday by the Minister of Education, Isabel Celaá, and the Education Counselors of the Autonomous Communities. It was a great expectation this Wednesday, as a month after stopping classroom classes it has been decided how to finish the course.
As for the return of classroom classes, no details have been given about their return.
