The protest "we are angry" has been broadly followed by the organizers
- The strike, convened by the trade unions ELA, LAB, ESK, STEILAS, ETXALDE and HIRU, under the slogan Haserre gaude, has been followed up in the workplaces and in the houses. Trade unions have called for the fight to defend health, employment and working conditions in the Basque Country.
In the words of ALS, "workers are angry because they are putting their health at risk." Health workers have demonstrated with cleaners at the hospital in Cruces and have made known the plight of workers in residences, ambulances or supermarkets.
The strike has had a multisectoral impact on sectors such as industry, where workers from various plants have been mobilised. They have also said: “Health, employment and working conditions must be put at the forefront, and that is precisely what we are asking of the Basque Government, the Government of Navarra, Confesbask and CEN.”

Some of the points called for by the trade unions are:
– Establishment of the necessary and effective preventive measures in basic services.
– The suspension of all non-basic work.
– Securing employment
– Ensure working conditions.
LAB Secretary General Garbiñe Aranburu has pointed out that today has been a day to show the anger in the workplace and in the house itself: "It is essential to increase the pressure of the population and to make it clear that it is time to give priority to health".
Garbiñe Aranburu asks where corporate social responsibility lies. “The employers CEOE, Confesbask, CEN that defend the interests of big companies do not assume any responsibility,” he said.
The employers have reiterated their desire for the crisis to be paid by workers and public coffers and not by workers. “The discourse of the lehendakari, Iñigo Urkullu, is the same discourse as the employer,” he stressed, adding that it gives the patronage.
