In the framework of the Strategic Plan of Childhood and Youth of Errenteria, Marea Gora, have participated young people from 4 to 12 years old and the park has been baptized with the name of Univessolandia, as the center of the image of the universe. “An educational, inclusive and fun space has been designed.”
The park is divided into three areas: experimentation area with water, sand and maze (mainly for children aged 0-4 years), with climbing elements from psychomotor activity, wood circuits and jumps (4-8) and slides, seats and meeting spaces (8-12). Organic material has been prioritized in construction.
A people tailor-made for children
The objective is “to deepen the commitment to build a country tailored to the children in the path of the educating people,” they say from the City Hall. After all, more and more people are joining the philosophy of the pedagogue Francesco Tonucci: a people designed and built for children, a people that benefits everyone and takes into account the needs of everyone.
The City Hall has stressed that “in the end, the dream has come true” and that this project, aimed at children’s leisure, gives them special enthusiasm for its peculiarities.
The first time the park is open, the young people who have participated in the process will wait for the opening holiday to be held in the autumn if the evolution of the pandemic allows it.
