The fourteenth edition of the bertsos competition Balendin Enbeita is underway
- The 14th edition of the Balendin Enbeita Bertsos competition is underway. As ALBE has explained, it can be a good time to put on paper the illusions, concerns or feelings of each. These efforts will be rewarded and proposals will be able to be sent by 30 September, both by regular mail and by email.
BASIS:
PARTICIPANTS:
Bertsolaris of all kinds can participate in the competition. Depending on the age, two sections are distinguished.
Adults: Over 18 years of age.
Juveniles: Up to 17 years.
WORK TO BE DONE:
The theme, size and melody of the verses are free for all participants.
Adults: Each participant must make a minimum of 8 verses and a maximum of 12.
Young people: each participant must perform a minimum of 6 verses and a maximum of 10.
Each participant may submit as many bertsos as he or she wishes.
TIME AND CONDITIONS:
The final day for the reception of the work will be 30 September 2021.
All Bertsos must be new, that is, awarded or awarded elsewhere.
Unpublished.
AWARDS:
Adults:
1st Prize: txapela, € 1,000 and trophy.
2nd Prize: € 700 and trophy.
3rd Prize: 400€ and trophy.
For young people:
1. Prize: txapela, 300€ and trophy.
2nd Prize: € 200 and trophy.
3rd Prize: 100€ and trophy.
A bertsolari will not be able to receive more than one prize, so he will be awarded the highest prize he has obtained.
PLACE AND METHOD OF DISPATCH:
Bertsos can be sent either by post or by email.
If sent by ordinary mail, the name of the author should not appear on the paper. Each verse shall be signed with a pseudonym and entered in another on the name and surname of the author, date of birth, address and telephone/e-mail, with the pseudonym abroad. Both envelopes shall indicate the section to which bertsolari is presented:

CELEBRATION OF JUDGMENT AND REWARD:
The jury will be appointed by the ALBE and the prizes will be presented at the traditional GALA ALBE which will be held at the end of the year.
The jury’s decision will be unappealable.
The jury may declare any of the prizes to be desert and grant, where appropriate, one or the other accésit.
OWNERSHIP OF THE WORK AND OTHERS:
ALBE reserves the exclusive right to publish the awarded works, and holds both the awarded and the published works.
Participation in this competition implies acceptance of all these rules.
In all matters not provided for in this Regulation, ALBE shall be competent to resolve.
