Parents' mornings are crazy! Wake up the children, give a breakfast, dress up... to get to school on time. These are our day-to-day concerns as parents. At 3,500 kilometres from our country, the responsibilities of the Palestinian parents are very different: whether they are going to have food to give children or not, the fear of dropping a bomb… More than a million children cannot go to school, thousands and thousands are left homeless and more than 14,000 are killed by the Zionist State of Israel.
In view of this situation, the parents and teachers of Euskal Herria have made various initiatives in recent months to show solidarity with the Palestinian people and to denounce the genocide. In the activities of Vitoria, the Palestinian children are also ours, and at the same time, and unknowingly, the parents of Bilbao, driven by the same concerns, opted for the same motto. This need has led us to collaborate and next Sunday, 16 June, at 11:30 a.m., we will offer a press conference at the Plaza Convivencia in Bilbao. The pain of the Palestinian families comes to us every day and we want their children to feel ours as well:
