The Union of Civil Guards has denounced at the Spanish National Hearing the organizers of the Ospa Eguna, to be held on 29 August in Alsasua under the slogan “You are the virus”. The Civil Guard Association accuses the organizers of "altecing terrorism" and calls for the day to be suspended in order to demand that the Spanish security forces leave Euskal Herria.
In the same week, coinciding with the Ospa Eguna, the organizers of the fair received, in addition to the complaint, fines. At the beginning of the year members of the movement reported that on the occasion of last year’s Resurrection Day an investigation was being carried out against the Ospa movement, a competence of the Provincial Court of Pamplona, for a possible “crime of hatred”. The two members of the couple have been fined for denouncing this investigation, which has been arrested.
This is not the first time they have faced the celebration of the Eguna Spa. Last year, the Civil Guard Association JUCIL asked the Spanish Public Prosecutor’s Office to prohibit the convening of the Civil Guard, number 2 of the National Court. He asked the judge of the Examining Court to ban the holding of the Eguna Spa, although there has finally been no ban.
