Strike day in the Pyrenees
- We have come together to reflect collectively on the strike in the Salazar and Roncal Valley. At 10 a.m. we have set up working groups to work on the reason for the strike and the proposed themes or points of view.
In general, shared ideas have emerged, including job insecurity, social imbalances and their normalisation, and many other reasons why they have gone out on the streets to strike. On the other hand, we have seen the need to strengthen the dynamics of mobilizations, since the information that comes from the media does not coincide with the social reality we have. We have found it lacking in the Pyrenees that the trade unions did not attend the meeting in advance to report on the strike. However, for our part, we have seen the need to do the previous work to enhance the visibility of today.
We have missed in the Pyrenees that the trade unions have not come before to report on the strike.
After the reflection, in this day of strike it has been decided to develop a series of actions: making banners and distributing people to people, carrying out mobilizations and reporting on all the actions carried out. In addition, it creates a strike group for the future, which in these days will meet in advance and inform society.
In the reflection group held in the morning, the importance of these work dynamics has been pointed out, especially to work the information among us. That is why we have seen the need to build sustainable working groups and forums for the future. Due to the peculiarities of the dynamics of the strike in rural areas, the need to build a decalogue explaining the different ways of striking has been raised.
The following actions have been carried out in today’s mobilisation:
- 10:00 Working Group on the strike at the Zatalarrain Cultural Centre in Ochagavía.
- 13:00 Manifestation of Ochagavía to Ezcároz.
- 13:30 Concentration of Ezcároz.
- 17:30 Concentration in the town hall of Roncal.

Hego Euskal Herrian arrazoi soziolaboralak edo politikoak direla medio, greba orokor bat deitzeak bere jarduera guztia geldiaraztea bilatzen du. Batzuentzat urtarrilaren 30eko greba orokorra arrakastatsua izan da, eta beste batzuentzat porrota, bakoitzaren betaurrekoen arabera.
