Thousands of workers are on strike on 15 February and have been called upon to mobilise the unions. They call for the "dignification" of services and public employment and the "real negotiation" in Navarra with contents in tables and forums.

Workers' representatives want, among other things, to improve working conditions and put an end to the "privatization policy" of the public sector. They remember that there is still a lot of time and that it should be below 8%. In addition, they require "adequate dimensioning" of the staff. Recovering purchasing power, improving ratios, guaranteeing professional careers... are other demands.

The first mobilization will take place at 11:30, with the concentration in front of the Palacio de Navarra, and the toilets will go in a column there. In addition, in the afternoon they have organised a demonstration starting at 17:30 from the old bus station.

Health strike

Coinciding with the public sector strike, Osasunbidea workers are also called today by the unions LAB, SAE, UGT, ELA and CCOO.

The unions were called to the sector table on Tuesday, but they decided to plant themselves because the Department of Health of the Government of Navarra refused to analyse their demands. "It has signed agreements with the Medical Union, overcoming labor and wage conditions," explains Isabel Artieda, head of the LAB public service, according to Euskalerria Irratia.

Trade unions also consider "abusive" the minimum services established for today's strike in Osasunbidea, which in some cases will be 100%.
