Tubacex workers have called for a 24-hour strike on Tuesday, 29 October, on workers. ELA, STAT, LAB, CCOO and Independents will be concentrated at 13:00 hours in front of the entrance of the Laudio plant.
The unions have explained that after the death in July of a young Llodio worker in a work accident, they began to prepare the list for maintenance, safety and prevention measures. Before finishing, another operator lost his life in the company's infrastructure, where he was transferred to Donostia Hospital.
However, workers' organisations have stressed that management has taken them into account and that it has also accused and threatened them of negligence. Furthermore, they have warned that pressure and ill-treatment are constant.
