Contrary to the clothing based on sexist codes, students started wearing their skirt in several schools in Canada in October. The teenage boy took advantage of this movement to fulfill his long-standing desire. He first suffered the looks and gossip of his peers, and at the center of the math subject he was also sent to the psychologist. The psychologist asked him if he considered himself a boy or a girl, and then told him that he was not cold, that it would not be better to remove his skirt.
Mikel reports on what happened in the famous social network Tic Tok, where there has been a great deal of reactions that have not been expected. Thousands of people have shown their support for Mikel with the skirt in place and have stated that work clothes have no gender in society.
“This is not a fashion”
Success is not a fashion, underscores the young woman, but a reflection of the feeling of fear that many have when expressing themselves as they are, because society does not accept what comes out of the norm. “Being afraid is normal, we are all afraid, but the challenge is to overcome that fear,” says Mikel.
