The Goiener Group, together with 70 independent traders, has presented a document with legal certainty measures for all those consumers who have to take exceptional measures to mitigate the effects of unemployment and/or the cessation or reduction of their activity. This document was presented on 24 March in the Ministry for Ecological Transition and in the National Commission on Markets and Competition (CNMC). In the letter sent to the partners by Goiener, who had not received a reply so far, he said that "we hope that good news will be forthcoming in order to deal jointly with this special situation and that the consequences will be as minimal as possible".
The objective of these measures is to reduce the cost of the electricity bill by reducing the fixed costs of the electricity supply to be met by customers, to alleviate the economic burden of the natural and legal persons concerned and by facilitating the adjustment of the contracted power "in a swift and free manner".
Furthermore, it is a question of establishing a system whereby, if necessary, independent traders can divide the payment of invoices to the final customer, as well as the payment of tolls to the distributors until the invoice is actually made.
