"I will amend human rights laws if necessary to combat terrorism"
- With no hair in his mouth, British Prime Minister Theresa May proposes to tighten the laws to the point of questioning human rights legislation itself. After the June 3 attacks in London, state security has become the main topic of debate in the English elections.
“There is a need to do more to obstruct the freedoms and movements of those suspected of terrorism. And if our human rights laws stop us, we will change the laws so we can do it.”
At a campaign event, he said that measures would be sought to facilitate the deportation of aliens suspected of terrorism, in the absence of 36 hours for the elections.
