First strike in the residences of Gipuzkoa

That is why the ELA trade union has announced the call for a strike - with a 60% representation among workers in social security - and has warned that if they do not achieve the objectives, protests will be hardened. The ELA member, Idoia Elustondo, of the elderly centers and nursing homes of Gipuzkoa, believes that the Provincial Council should enter into negotiations and that a "clear commitment" should also be made to the Basque Government.
