Gaza and Zulueta, in the May documentary cycle of the Orbain cultural association of Vitoria-Gasteiz
- The cycle will begin on 7 May with three short documentaries on Gaza.
The Orbain cultural association will offer the Doku-Mental cycle one month in May. The genocide in Gaza, the story of the slave Julian Zulueta and the treatment of women's bodies will be in the movies with documentaries and the monthly rock and roll offer will not be lacking in the hand of El Pintalabios.
On 7 May, under the title Genocide in Gaza, three short documentary films will be issued at 19:00. Gaza directed by Carlos Bover Martínez and Julio Pérez del Campo; Gaza directed by Armelle Loiseau and Agnes Varraine-Leca, young people under occupation; and Yala de Carlos D’Ursi. Esther Muñoz, a member of the BDS of Álava, will be responsible for the subsequent conference of documentaries. In addition, a wooden sculpture of Gorka Hierro in favour of Palestine will be drawn.
On May 14, attendees will enjoy the documentary Zulueta, Azucar Moreno, directed by Angel Katarain. Gladys Giraldo and Tony Cuhna, members of the Contrapunto group, will take part in the next talk.
On May 21 you will see the Manipulation: sex, camera and power of Nina Menkes, who has not yet specified who will lead the talk after the documentary. And on May 28, José Luis Blanco and Fernando López de Heredia Hala Bedi present the documentary recommended by the speakers of the program El Pintalabios.
