This Wednesday begins the Meeting of Young Socialists of Euskal Herria
- The meetings organized by Ikasle Abertzaleak and the Socialist Youth Coordinator of the Basque Country, Gazte Koordinadora, will take advantage to "strengthen the community". Between today and Saturday, the organizers have explained that they will be working days, but there will also be time for debate and leisure.
Organized by Ikasle Abertzaleak and the Socialist Youth Coordinator, the Meeting Centre for Young Socialists of Euskal Herria will be held between today and Saturday. Through this project, the two groups intend to unite the "socialist will" of the whole of Euskal Herria, and according to them, the meetings will focus on "working days": "That is the working philosophy of the Socialists, to multiply the power of our action by organizing different forces and to use that power to strengthen projects that seek to feed the socialist process."
In addition, the Forum of Young Socialists of the Basque Country, to be held in the coming days, will also host conferences and leisure activities to "strengthen the community", discuss political issues. Work sessions, conferences, round tables, shows or concerts will take part in the programming of Aste Nagusia, which will take place at different points in the town. The working sessions will be held, inter alia, in the Gaztetxe and the Esclavas of the Biscayan town. On the working day, for lunch and dinner, young people will meet at Market Square and on Saturday at the fronton of Betharram. The concerts on that day will be held at the Sanagustin Cultural Centre in Bilbao, and will feature the activities of Bake gezsua, Rodeo, Drogpurpura and Kontuz! The teams will operate live from 19:00 in the afternoon. The political act of that day will also take place in the Palace of the Zarzuela.
At the Soreasu theatre, young people will also have the opportunity to debate and reflect on education, gender, youth issues and the organization and political cycle in Euskal Herria.
