Last Tuesday it was announced that the Ertzaintza found the corpses of a couple in a house in the Vitorian district of Sansomendi about 07:30 in the morning. Both corpses showed signs of violence and the initial hypothesis would be confirmed through the investigation: the man could kill the woman by stabbing her and then committing suicide.
The 37-year-old woman and the 42-year-old man were injured. According to the news, according to several sources, the couple was in the process of separation between the parents. These are two children of 13 and 17 years of age, who have given the warning to the police.
To show their rejection of this event, there are a number of mobilisations that have been made. On Wednesday, at 12:00 a.m., the City Hall of Vitoria-Gasteiz has called a rally in the Plaza Nueva de Vitoria-Gasteiz.
The Women's World March of the Basque Country has called for mobilizations in the three capitals of Hego Euskal Herria. The date is Wednesday, at 19:00 hours, in the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca. In Bilbao, Pamplona/Iruña and Donostia-San Sebastián, for their part, have made calls for this Thursday. In the Basque capital they have called to concentrate at 19:00 on the Plaza del Arriaga; in Pamplona at 20:00 on the Plaza del Ayuntamiento; and in Donostia-San Sebastián at 19:00 on the Boulevard.
