The National Public University 2021 will be held on the Vitoria-Gasteiz campus from 16 to 17 March
- The student movement has stated that, one more year, "despite the difficulties", there will be a Popular National University. They have already presented the programme for the two days, with talks, round tables and cultural activities. Among the guests are the Socialist cultural initiative Ekida, Itaia, the SEPC students union in the Catalan countries or the youth organization Arran, the economist Miren Etxezarreta and the Argentine thinker Juan Iñigo Carrera, among others.
The University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU) will hold on the campus of Vitoria-Gasteiz (Álava) the National Public University 2021 from 16 to 17 March. The student movement has explained that, on this occasion, "there have been many obstacles and difficulties encountered", although hundreds of students will take the initiative. In the words of the organizers, the objective of the project will be "to sow the seed of knowledge and disseminate knowledge".
A few days after the opening of the call, the Public University has published the full program. The round table will involve the SEPC students' union from Catalan countries and Ikasle Abertzaleak to talk about "the student movement and its challenges". For its part, the Socialist Youth Coordinator, Arrate, Castellà and Jale, will form the international discussion table of youth organisations.
In addition to the organizations, this year there will also be individual lectures at the Herri Unibertsitatea, such as that of economist Miren Etxezarreta, who will talk about "the trends of current capitalism"; Argentine Marxist thinker Juan Iñigo Carrera, who will analyze "the relationship of capital and the working class as a revolutionary subject"; and journalist Carmen parejo, about the coup d'Myanmar.
