The weekend is Gartxot Eguna in Izalzu
- The legend of Gartxot is in his native town a kind of relicarian, and this year he will also pay tribute to the bard of Itzaltzu (Navarra) on Saturday and Sunday.
The Basque, the legend and the auzolan celebrate each year the Gartxot Eguna in Izalzu (Navarra), organized by the Gartxot Initiative. This year, the festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, and to this end they have prepared a comprehensive programme of activities.

On the 19th, at 12:00 a.m., director Josu Martínez will present the film Jainkoak ez dit barkatzen, about Lezo Urreiztieta, in the house of the valleys of Ezcároz. At 13:45 hours, in the Anduña Ibaia society, Asisko Urmeneta will take over the book AztiHitza and participate in the second edition of the Azoka of Durango. After the meal, the bertsolaris Miren Artetxe, Aitor Mendiluze and Unai Agirre will conduct a very dynamic bertsos session in which they will analyze the present day. At 19:00, it will be Amorante's turn, which "will merge popular music and experimentation". After Gathubi's performance, DJ Ezekiel will enliven the desk.
Sunday, for its part, will start the day walking. The march will be at 10:00 hours and Porrotx performance at 12:00 hours. The weekend will be fired with a self-managed meal, to which family members will come.
