It is time to end the era of the Jurassic Plastik!

Supermarkets sell most of their products in plastic covers (and this also for fresh products: bread, gas, meats, fruits in packaging and plastic,…) and are often found in a second abusive wrapping (cardboard and plastic membranes around yoghurt, toothpaste tubes, etc. ).

Unfortunately, most of these single-use roofs remain hundreds of years for their disappearance (400 years for plastic) and are causing significant pollution (garages of dirt; waste appearing on the beaches of all continents; 7 plastic containing 800 000 km² in the Pacific). Continent; …). And finally, on the micro particles that appear after the deterioration of plastics, they never disappear, and they are present in all, entering the land, in the digestion systems of marine animals … and in all heads.

After a paper delivery to customers, activists with green t-shirts have been cleaning for a long time, as provided for in the law Campezo 6, some containers can be replaced by abandoned covers. Seeing the little ones that they are and that have needed some difficulty in harassing them, entrepreneurs have decided to leave their covers in a spectacular way in the center of the store. They hope not to be forgotten: You could read “105 products bought = 1 waste cart” in the abandoned cart.

This action invites consumers to reduce the production of roofs to the use of their power of influence in supermarkets and their suppliers. To do this, simple and effective gestures can be achieved in everyday life:

Everything I could, no suitcases or covers;

Prioritize crushed or cut purchases in butcheries, gas shops and fishmongers;

Always bring reusable holders with them and require them to be installed within the purchased products;

Choose foods that have a cover of a few;

Systematically leave the covers at the store door.

Unlike common beliefs, retail or short purchases (for commodities) have a price equal to that of covered products. That is, leaving the time of Jurassic Plastik, selling and consuming in another way, is no more karyotic!

Let us change the system and not the climate!
