The objective of Gaindegia is to work and offer content that contributes to the national development of the Basque Country. Gaindegia was created in 2004 thanks to the impetus of various economic and social actors in the Basque Country. To this end, it has created periodic monographic publications, infographics, interactive maps and statistical data and has worked over the past 17 years.
As from 30 June, however, the activity of the observatory has had to be suspended due to economic problems.
