The Ertzaintza uses Foam bullets against Tubacex strikers

The workers of the company Tubacex, who have been on strike for 43 days, have moved this Thursday from the entrance of the Llodio plant to that of Amurrio, where they have also managed to close their entrance for several hours. According to the media Airaldea.eus, the police have used up to five foam bullets to attack strikers in several cities.

The management of Tubacex has launched a process of dismissal of 95 persons, 22 of whom will leave the company by their own means and 13 pre-retirement pensions, among other measures. 600 people work across the group, but the Alavese plants will be the most affected by the layoffs.
